Dr. Basden, a highly respected figure in the field of clinical psychology, completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Boston University, where she was awarded the Martin Luther King Research Fellowship. Her responsibilities will also include preparing court reports, supervising and consulting with fellow professionals, and leading a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of mental health care are maintained.

Dr. Basden will play a pivotal role in service development, identifying gaps in Bermuda’s mental health services, and establishing new clinical programs that respond to community needs. She will also represent Solstice in public forums, advocating for accessible and effective mental health services, while also contributing to research, clinical audits, and financial sustainability efforts.  Dr Basden will be accessible to provide community based trainings for many sectors in our community including educational, clinical and corporate workshops.
